He began his career with Stickmen (2001) and gained recognition as a second unit cinematographer on The Lord of the Rings trilogy. He has since worked on acclaimed films like The Home Song Stories, The Peanut Butter Falcon, and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, as well as TV series such as True Detective. Trained at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, Bluck is known for his collaborative approach, use of large-format lenses, and strong visual storytelling.
