Is it just scrolling through social media or…? Emily Yeah, social media is definitely one of the best ways! You know, places usually advertise their events on platforms like Facebook or Instagram. But I also subscribe to local newsletters and check community boards. It's kind of like hunting for treasure, you never know what gem of an event you’ll find! Michael Haha, yes! So, do you think—umm, everyone can just dive into these types of things, or is there a bit of a learning curve? Emily Oh, I believe everyone can dive in! There are events for every age and interest. For example, I once volunteered at a local arts festival. It was such an enriching experience because I got to meet artists and learn more about their passion. Even if it seems intimidating, just jump in! You’d be surprised at how welcoming the community is. Michael Aww, like a big group hug, huh? Uhh, do you have a favorite seasonal celebration, like maybe Thanksgiving or something? Emily That’s a great example! I especially love how here in Australia, seasonal festivals bring communities together regardless of the weather. Take the summer solstice celebrations, right?
