Hey Winner, In Nehemiah 5 we notice that the Jews become discouraged once again and our struggling to build the wall of Jerusalem. They know the wall is for their own good and protection, but they're struggling to make means meet in the meantime. They're mortgaging their fields and even selling their kids to slavery to pay the debts they owed. The poor were being oppressed and charged exorbitant amounts o interest, which was, mind you, forbidden by the law of that time. This led to more disappointment for the Jews, and many were ready to give up. So what did Nehemiah do?
