Ep #244 - Annihilation
from After the Hype Hosted by After The Hype
This week on the podcast we're talking about Annihilation, the next film from Alex Garland - the writer and director of Ex Machina. It's quite the doozy of a film that asks a lot of interesting questions about the nature of humanity and the world at large. Joining us on this trippy extravaganza is special guest and friend of the show Johnny Recher, who transforms into a shrieking skull bear and consumes us all. Just kidding. We actually spend a good chunk of the episode making bear jokes and references. SHOWNOTES: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN DOING? BRYAN - Phantasm Movies CHEWIE - Cloak and Dagger EMILY - Blackkklansman, The Spy Who Dumped Me JON - Camping Trip JOHNNY - The Alienist, Just Float OUR INTRO MUSIC COURTESY CROSSCOUNTRY312 ON FIVERR
