Ep. 247 - Mom Said “We’re Leaving” During Spider-Man - 08/18/2026

Peaches and Jeff kick off the Noon Hour of Madness and Mayhem without Viktor in the building, which immediately turns into an investigation into why Victor is missing and whether Becca is somehow responsible. From there, the guys attempt to prove that negativity can actually be good for you, Jeff delivers perhaps the least inspirational motivational speech ever given, and the conversation moves into everything from getting older and becoming increasingly irritated with humanity to why tall people are apparently more trustworthy than short people. Peaches also tells the story of Harvey Levin eating an enormous bowl of ground beef while casually having his Porsche washed outside the newsroom, before the guys revisit Jeff’s nightmare experience at Rapping the Rivers, where festival neighbors apparently kept the party going until 6:30 in the morning. Then things get really good when Peaches finds a woman online who walked out of the new Spider-Man movie because she thought the language was completely inappropriate for a PG-13 movie, prompting the guys to debate movie ratings, The Punisher, Deadpool, The Boys, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Poltergeist, Spaceballs and the movies that probably should have come with a much stronger warning. That eventually turns into stories about awkward family trips to see Adam Sandler movies, falling asleep during Yu-Gi-Oh!, Peaches’ hatred of Harry Potter and why he apparently believes an R-rated version of Harry Potter would be much funnier. And just when you think the episode couldn't possibly get any more ridiculous, Peaches quietly farts directly toward Jeff in the studio and admits it after the fact. It’s a remarkably stupid, surprisingly funny hour that covers movie outrage, bad festival neighbors, questionable movie ratings, childhood memories and one very unfortunate studio smell.
