Fangirls Going Rogue kicks off the New Year discussing the theme of friendship in storytelling, highlighting this concept as it plays out in Skeleton Crew and Wicked. Hosts Tricia Barr and Sarah Woloski were initially drawn to the character KB in Skeleton Crew. As her friendship is tested with Fern in Episodes 4 - 7, KB gains confidence and new friends in Wim and Neel, while also helping Fern evolve as the crew's leader. In the popular movie Wicked, Galinda and Elphaba find their loathing turn to friendship, and changes both women for the better. Also in this episode, we cover Disneyland's Seasons of the Force and the Baylan Skoll recasting as Ahsoka Season 2 spins up to film later this year.
