Ep 25: How to bounce back when your confidence takes a hit

Confidence can be a funny thing. Sometimes you feel like you have it, and sometimes you don't. And it's not just in the business world—it's everywhere, from our relationships to our personal lives. On my recent trip to the casino, I saw an example of how confidence and self belief works in action: a man was betting thousands of dollars on every hand he played, and then suddenly lost everything he had—down to his last few chips. But instead of giving up and walking away from the table when he lost almost his money, like most of the other players did, he stayed in the game. He kept holding faith that it was possible to bounce back until he won back what he'd lost plus more! Now i'm not advocating for gambling your life savings away or even chasing your losses, but there is a lesson here that I am hoping you walk away with and that is that confidence is just like a game of poker, even if you take big risks and it doesn't work out, even if you lose all your confidence or feel like things aren't going your way, as long as you stay in the game there will always be opportunity for a big win or success. So go out there and play your cards right!
