Ep. 25- Karen's Story

Becky and Tiffany sit down with Karen to share her story.  Karen helped in the development of the Healing Through Christ 12-Step program, is a mom of five and grandmother of seventeen.  She shares how her relationship with the Savior has been strengthened during her journey through betrayal trauma. She shares that after learning of her husband's sexually acting out behaviors during their twenty-five years of marriage, she felt she was the one who had to fix and heal everything. Karen says that attending twelve step meetings and listening to the Lord were instrumental in her ability to begin changing her mindset. However, it wasn't until a devastating illness came to her that she finally learned to surrender. Karen says, "I'm shedding this mortal 'gunk' through Christ. Christ is the basis of my recovery."
