Ep. 25: LaBoit Clinic, Hospitalization On a Mobile Basis, and Corporate Practice; Meet Dr. Seely Rotigel

from House Call Vet Café Podcast · host Eve Harrison, VMD, CVA

Dr. Seely Rotigel graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and is a small animal mobile vet. After graduating, she then worked at 2 "land clinics" for the next 8 years then decided it was time to do things her way and started the Visiting Vet Mobile Vet Clinic 20 years ago. She opted to go mobile (after fuming in her office, upset about some current clinic policies and flipping thru a vet magazine and seeing a Laboit ad) because it was an economical way to start a business and had a great client following. Seely lives in the SW Michigan area with her wife, 4 cats, 1 dog, 8 chickens, 19 pond fish, 2 horses, and 2 mini donkeys. If she wasn't allergic to animals, she would have more! Seely has a daughter who is already 22 years old and just graduating from college.  Topics Covered In This Episode: LaBoit practice Retirement Practice sales Corporate practice Links & Resources for Dr. Seely Rotigel: The Visiting Vet The House Call Vet Academy links: Download Dr. Eve's FREE House Call & Mobile Vet Biz Plan!  Find out about The House Call Vet Academy online CE course   Learn more about Dr. Eve Harrison   Learn more about the Concierge Vet Mastermind! We specialize in unpacking the nuances of what is considered sacred and profane, particularly focusing on sex, death, and all that pertains to the circle of life. Our aim in focusing on such ”taboo” subject matter is to demystify what is unconscious, bring to light what has been known for centuries as ”the occult,” and empower the rapid transformation that is occurring on the Planet.
