In World: (7:09) Name an aspect of life and you can be given something terrible about that aspect. It evokes a term that'll probably begin to get used more: Polycrisis.In the 1st of two Society segments: (28:04) The term "Generation Gap" is a term that is used probably too often, but in a post-COVID world, it might be apt for how Gen Y & Z responds to the decisions of Gen X and prior generations. In the 2nd Society segment: (46:38) Something that is definitely changing among the youth is speech. The likes of Cockney & Queen's English have pretty much disappeared. In their place, a mixture of it all.Lastly, in Media: (56:31) The New Yorker article on Hasan Minhaj last month was a very revealing one on the face, leading to another existential discussion on storytelling in the Stand-up Comedy medium.
