Today I am a finisher of 258 marathoners in all 50 states, not once, but twice, and in January 2022, I will finally complete my 3rd round of the 50 states in Maui oceanfront marathon. Professionally, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Health Coach and a Running Coach, all in all, I'm a Health and Human Performance Coach, I have a Masters of Science in Human Performance. My work is amazing, its my passion, it inspires me to helps others live their best life. In another life, I was an accountant and worked in finance from 1995-2008. when the market crashed and my hedge fund collapse, I saw it as an opportunity to follow my own truth, to carve out a path that made my heart sing, to create a life I don't need a vacation from, so I went back to school and started anew. I studied what mattered to me most. As an avid marathoner i went to a running work shop and then another and then another, as an avid Yogini I went to a teacher training weekend and then another and then another, I have been practicing yoga since the 1990's so it only made sense to get my certification to teach. As an avid consumer of bodywork, I decided to go to massage school so I can learn more about my own body and how it worked and how I can help myself mitigate injuries from all the marathons I put on my body. I started my company, Marathon Massage, to fill a niche that I couldn't find when I was searching. i work primarily with runners and cyclists and I am grateful to be doing work that is meaningful to me, work that I deeply value, and that nourishes me just as much as my clients. Back to running, after running 100 marathons I decided I needed a new challenge, so I became a Pacer; today I have paced many marathons all over the country and In March I am delighted to be Pacing the Rome Marathon and in April 2022, the Manchester Marathon, hopefully in October, London will resume with pacers and I will go to London to Pace like I was supposed to in 2020. I have pace the New York City Marathon for 8 years now and and Chicago for 4. I am married to my best friend and a wonderful man that I met at a marathon, and we got engaged at a marathon and we got married, or Maui'd as I like to say, at Maui Oceanfront Marathon in 2014.
