Ep 26: 1st Anniversary Show - Part 1 (Big Trouble in Little China)

from The Movie Defenders

It's a special episode of The Movie Defenders as we celebrate 1 year of defending films.  To celebrate, Scott and Donald each show the other a film the other has never seen, and immediately head to the mics to discuss the film and reaction to seeing it for the first time.  In Part 1, Donald shows Scott a movie that somehow escaped him for over 30 years, the 1980's cult classic, Big Trouble in Little China!  Scott's a huge John Carpenter fan, but somehow never saw this film.  But before we dive into the movie, we talk about Henry Cavil leaving the DCEU, and we give a Movie Defenders eulogy to the late, great Burt Reynolds and turn you on to a film he recently made that you might not know about.  So come along and listen to the Defenders celebrate film in a way they've never done before, and hear Scott's reaction literally minutes after watching Big Trouble in Little China.  (Be sure to listen to Part 2 as Scott shares a film with Donald that he's never seen!)
