EP 26: Beating Statistics, Crowds and Excuses

from ElkBros Blue Collar Elk Hunting · host Gilbert Ornelas, Joe Giglia, Leroy 'Chav" Chavez & RC Knox

Using a typical success rate, right around 11 to 26 public land hunters out of 100 are going to kill an elk. 85 to 90 percent of those numbers, are those hunters consistently getting it done year after year. According to the statistics, especially all you guys and gals heading out west for the first time, only 2 to 4 of you out of 100 are going to kill an elk on public land this year. Is that really your reality? You know what we say to that y’all? We say screw the statistics!  In this episode, your elk hunting coaches talk about statistics, crowds as well as how all the negatives, and excuses out there are really just opportunities in disguise for those that want to be successful. Not an ending, but an occurrence that changes those it happens to?In Kurt Vonnegut: Reporter on the Afterlife, Vonnegut skips back and forth between life and the Afterlife as if the difference between them were rather slight.
