Ep. 26 - Crunch Time

With only 10 La Liga games left in the season, as well as the UCL quarter-finals, it is crunch time for Real Madrid. If Los Blancos were to reach the final of the UCL, there would be 15 games left to play in the season. Real Madrid continued their fight to defend their La Liga title with a 3-1 over Celta Vigo away from home. However, while Real Madrid was able the secure points, their rivals, Atlético Madrid and Barcelona, were also able to come away from their games with 3 important points. Real Madrid are currently in third place, 6 points behind league leaders Atlético and 2 points behind bitter rivals Barcelona. All three teams have difficult matchups in front of them where they can easily drop points, including El Clásico between Real Madrid and Barcelona, which could decide who will remain in the fight for the title. However, Real Madrid is the only Spanish team still left in the Champions League. Their quarterfinal matches with Liverpool could distract Los Blancos from their fight in La Liga, leaving the door open for Atlético Madrid and Barcelona to battle for the title.
