Ciara is the former National Director of the Professional Development Service for Teachers (PDST), and since departing that role last year she now works as an independent educational consultant, researcher and professional speaker in the areas of teacher education, school leadership and curriculum while also working as a part-time lecturer with Maynooth University. Here she explores the leadership opportunities in the wider landscape rather than the more traditional trajectories.
