Ep. 26: Grey Gardens
from On The Doc Hosted by Amarilys and Misty
Original Publish Date: November 16, 2021 Edith and Edie Bouvier Beale are a mother daughter team who live in a 28-room mansion in East Hampton. --and while that sounds amazing, the house was condemned at one point and now they live in only one of the rooms, is flea infested, and there are a bazillion cats and raccoons that also make the estate their home. They also like to cook corn-on-the-cob bedside. The relationship between the two ladies is at the heart of what makes this documentary simultaneously compelling and a train wreck. Misty and Amarilys attempted to video themselves and if it sounds like they had a good time, it's because they did. If you don't like to hear them laugh, then this might not be the episode for you. You can catch Grey Gardens on HBOMax or YouTube (for free!) Enjoy! As always, if you enjoyed listening to this nonsense, please leave On The Doc a review on iTunes or Facebook. It not only encourages the ladies but it also helps with rankings. You can also find OTD on YouTube where episodes are uploaded and where Misty and Amarilys are planning to share episode videos in the near future.
