from The Dr. Ward Bond Show · host The Whitfield Media Group, Inc.

Joachim Horsley is a multi-talented, award-winning, musician, composer, orchestrator, arranger and producer.    His work was heralded in the French publication Le Figaro as “masterful” and his recent cover of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony, movement II, became a viral sensation, garnering over 10 million views and world-wide attention.    He is among the very elite pianists who have been selected by Steinway & Sons as a “Steinway Artist,” a very high honor indeed.    Mr. Horsley has crafted arrangements and orchestrated for popular musicians Michael Bublé, John Legend, Ben Folds and The Pet Shop Boys. He has also scored 25 films and his work has been screened at every major film festival around the world.    Today we discuss his new album “Caribbean Nocturnes” and how he created a new genre of fusion inspired classical music as well as giving us a lesson of how he scores the music for major motion pictures.
