Abigail Aroha Jensen, a multi-disciplinary artist and sometimes DJ based in Tāmaki Makaurau. She goes by the moniker M4URI M4STA for her exploration into ORO - ORO being the realm of sound. She recently released her debut PŪORO PLAY V0L 001 - a soundscape of tāonga pūoro, wai, debris and various urban field recordings she took travelling between Kirikiriroa and Parnell train station. On the show, she weaves her favourite lockdown tracks with taonga pūoro to send you on a journey within. “To understand mauri is to acknowledge the inherent life force in all things.
