SD LabRats is a dynamic non-profit that is committed to providing engaging STEM programs for kids. SD LabRats was founded by Jason’s dad and his brother, who has a M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Colorado. As the Executive Director, Jason spearheads programs that provide access to STEM education and instill a passion for science in kids of all ages. SD LabRats’ team of scientists offers hands-on courses, after-school assemblies, Discovery Camps, and more. While their programs and curriculum are intended for kids in grades K-8, LabRats creates opportunities for high schoolers to hone their skills and engage their passion for the STEM field by allowing them to serve as teaching assistants for their courses.
