EP 27: Debbie Pridemore on Attachment theory, Therapy, and Christianity

from the Informed Simplicity podcast · host jocrharris

"[Attachment] it's a protection systems that's built into our bodies, so when that's in distress, like with a couple, and you don't know if that person has your back, you don't know if you're safe with that person, or that person becomes a threat, then we go into survival mode. Literally our body goes into a fight-flight freeze response because we don't know if we're safe, we don't have that other person to keep us safe, to help us watch for danger, and to protect us when there's danger there."   View on YouTube Contact Debbie Here:[email protected] P.S.
