With all the calls for outrage and fear from the right and the left, there’s a lot of noise in today’s news cycle. We still have more than two months before Trump takes office. All of Trump’s current picks will help with the transition team to fill out all the lower administrative appointed positions, but they’ll still have to be confirmed by the Senate before they really start doing their jobs. A lot of water will pass the bridge between now and then. As I was recording live, we got the news that Trump had picked Matt Gaetz to be his Attorney General.
