Ep. 27 - Stephanie Zee

from The Wolf of Queen Street · host Lawrence Lotze

The same weekend her dad had his first stroke, she was involved in a bus accident. She had no seat belt on and was thrown flying through the bus at 80kms an hour. Based on where her pain was coming from in her neck, Stephanie was told that all evidence suggested she should have been a quadriplegic right now. As you can imagine she was not in a good place in her life. She became depressed and was emotionally as well as physically exhausted trying to deal with her accident and her dad. For a few years before the bus accident, she had this inner knowing about her life purpose, but was choosing to ignore it. Literally, as soon as the accident happened, she knew instantaneously why it did. She remembers laying on the floor of the bus thinking ‘’oh God can I feel’’. It was then and there that she made a promise to her creator that she would pursue her mission for the rest of her life! Listen further to how Stephanie explains that over the years, she came to realise the only thing ever holding her back was our beliefs and the stories we keep telling ourselves. It wasn’t until she started exploring personal development and healing modalities that she realised how many limiting beliefs and negative emotions she had stored in her brain and body from past experiences. This is because they are stored in the unconscious mind, so we are not consciously aware of them. Many of her beliefs were around not feeling worthy, enough and feeling unloved. Finally, Stephanie noted that when we learn how to fill ourselves up with love, we stop needing the approval of others. There is no longer a need to seek our love externally and through other people. When we truly love ‘The Self’ we can spread and share that love to others. It’s made her realise how important her mission is in this world. Everything we do has a ripple effect on others, so she is proud to be someone making a positive impact! If there is anything she has learned along her journey so far, it’s that love… really is the cure all!
