Ep 278: Projection versus Being

There is a distinction between projection and being.  In leadership, you see a lot of projection of confidence, and the projection of confidence is radically different from confidence. How would you know a projection of confidence? It has no room for things like, "I am not afraid because being afraid would mean I'm not confident." However, to be confident, it must have room for fear. You can show up in a room and say, "I'm terrified." Listen and know more about the difference between projecting something versus being.
