She was petrified. She didn't have any qualifications for the job and everyone else in the room seemed so much smarter and better equipped. She spent five of those ten minutes in the bathroom with her handbag in her hands deliberating whether to pull out and go home. But she chose to stay and it changed her life. Out of hundreds that applied for the job and a gruelling round of interviews in two capital European cities she was one of four people to get the job, and the only woman.
