In addition to local headlines, national need to know news and spring adventure options; our special guest this week is Jacquie Chandler from Sustain Tahoe where we discuss stewardship, geotourism and the shared vision of Tahoe’s future.   Jacquie Chandler, Executive Director of Sustain Tahoe, facilitates the adoption of responsible travel and stewardship recreation within the Tahoe Truckee Watershed region. Inspired by the decades of lake science by Dr Charles Goldman, Jacquie felt compelled to help. Add to the mix, May 2007, when she attended a South Lake Tahoe Tourism Conference where she met the Executive Director of National Geographic Center for Sustainable Destinations who introduced her to the innovative concept of Geotourism - the rest is history!
