In 2008 a small Swedish film based on the novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist called Let the Right One In made quite the splash at film festivals and global cinemas. Two years later the newly resurrected Hammer films took interest and remade it for English speaking audiences starring Chloe Grace Moretz, Richard Jenkins, Elias Koteas,  and Kodi Smit-McPhee. While both films are quite similar, the changes made by Hammer make these films feel quite different.
