Ep 28: Whole person, holistic medical care does exist with Dr. John Stracks

from Beyond The Pelvis · host Laura Haraka

In this episode, we are joined by Dr. John Stracts, a mindbody medicine doctor who is changing the medical system with a model of care that is truly holistic. We discuss how stress shows up in the body, the spiritual side of chronic conditions, how community healing is beneficial in recovery and more. Dr. John Stracks is an integrative physician who specializes in chronic health conditions that haven't been helped through conventional Western medicine. He is particularly interested in helping people make the mind-body connection--the connection between what is going on in their lives and what is going on in their bodies as the way to heal chronic pain. He left his hospital practice in 2017 to co-found what is now Cormendi Health with his wife, Lisa; he now works with clients all over the globe through individual sessions, classes, and discussion groups to help them find healing. You can learn more about his practice at cormendihealth.com. You can find him online at www.cormendihealth.com. Enjoy the episode! Dr. Kenael and Laura
