Our sin nature—rooted in Adam’s fall—means we will always experience desires that stem from our flesh. But through Jesus, the second Adam, we have redemption and the power to overcome sin.Even Jesus was tempted, yet He did not sin (Hebrews 4:15). Temptation is inevitable, but through the Holy Spirit, we have the strength to resist and walk in self-control (1 Corinthians 10:13).
