Ep 29. The Need For Jews To Provide Life Affirming Outreach To Jewish Mothers, Fathers And Their Unborn Children

Our Christian friends have a long tradition of providing church based practical and moral support to mothers, fathers, and their unborn children. Torah commands us to provide help to the widow and orphan. Following this principle, we need to establish similar programs in our synagogues and in our communities that offer practical and moral support to Jewish mothers, fathers and their unborn children. We look at two articles that offer examples of this type of outreach. The first contends that when Roe v Wade is overturned, pro-life advocates will need to ramp up outreach efforts, so it is vitally. important to have these systems in place now. The second article highlights Good Council Homes, a church based haven for homeless pregnant women in NYC. Good Council Homes accommodates Jewish clients with Jewish supportive services.
