JL Maxcy is an American born artist from the gulf coast town of Victoria, TX. They studied art at the University of Texas in Arlington, where they earned their B.F.A in Painting. JL has shown work throughout the American south, including the Tucson Museum of Modern Art in Arizona and 500x Gallery in Dallas, Texas. JL moved to London in 2014 and currently lives and works out of their studio in Twickenham.
