Ep 295: The Murders of Laura Mortimer, Ella Dalby and Libby Squire with Jodie Edith and Lisa Squire Part 2

from Crime Analyst · host Laura Richards

On January 31, 2019, Libby Squire, a 21-year-old university student, disappeared following a night out with friends in Kingston upon Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire.  Libby was abducted, raped, and murdered by a sexual predator.  Her killer, Pawel Relowicz, was later convicted of her rape and murder, and was charged with additional voyeurism, outraging public decency and burglary offences.  Laura is joined by Lisa Squire, Libby’s mother, who bravely shares her family’s story and the devastating impact of her daughter’s murder, and the lifelong trauma families endure when systems fail to prevent violence. Laura carefully unravels the behavioural patterns and risk factors present in Libby’s case challenging common myths around “random” attacks and highlighting how opportunity, predatory behaviour, and escalation intersect. Laura, Jodie and Lisa dive deep into the red flags and patterns present in the behaviour of these repeat offenders, and what needs to happen next to save women and children’s lives.  This is an essential listen; it could save a life. #LauraMortimer #EllaDalby #LibbySquires #DoubleMurder #Investigation #Behaviour #Risk #EarlyWarningSigns #CoerciveControl #SerialPerpetrator #Manipulation #Psychopath #Stalking #Predatorymen #MaleViolence #Manipulation #Prison #Release #CrimeAnalyst #Expert  #Podcast #Femicide #Murder #TrueCrime Clips  https://youtu.be/yacBZbd4E-g?si=9Zmo1sKGFdDa6Bzq More from Lisa and Jodie: Instagram If you’d like to learn more about the incredible work that Lisa Squire and Jodie Edith are doing, or to book their powerful workshop, May Their Voices Save Lives, you can visit www.nurturefromwithin.co.uk/activism. 2026 Masterclasses and Crime Analyst Resources and Community    Join Laura’s new 2026 Masterclasses covering topics such as profiling behavior, preventing murder and suicide in slow motion, DASH, DASH Train the Trainer, coercive control, and stalking.
