Ep: 296 – Atlanta Falcons Game Preview – Detroit Lions Podcast

In this live episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris, Jeff Risdon, and Tony Ortiz preview player performances and take a look ahead to the game against the Atlanta Falcons. As a team who played unexpectedly well last week, the Atlanta Falcons are looking to build on their success after firing coach Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff following their 0-5 start. The Atlanta Falcons Aren’t A Good Team! They aren’t terrible either. The situation with the Atlanta Falcons front office changes last week wasn’t a case of an owner giving up on their coach and management, it was more a “we need to change things up because they just aren’t working anymore.” The Atlanta Falcons players reacted to the front office shakeup strongly and rushed out to a strong lead against the Vikings early before almost giving up the game in the 4th. We don’t expect them to suddenly rise to greatness, but there are some good players on that team who the Lions need to account for. We discuss that, what the Lions need to do to pull out a victory, and who to look for along the way.
