Ep. 3 - Check Your Leave and Cleave

Let's chat about gaining in-laws. Is the relationship what you expected or dreamt of it being? This part of our marriage was a disaster. In-laws can bring so much joy but for us it brought a very destructive element that almost made us a statistic of divorce. Who would have thought this plagues so many marriages, not us! Ephesians 5:31 talks about how a man shall leave his mother and father and hold fast to his wife. Why do you think God made this instruction? Because if you don't heed this warning, destruction can prevail. Once you say I DO then it's ON YOU to leave your parents and cling to your spouse. Understanding this scripture pivoted our marriage.
