Ep 3: Michael Seereiter

IDD Health Matters hosted by Craig Escudé, MD, FAAFP, FAADM features guests from across the globe who are leading the efforts to improve health, wellness and health equity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Michael Seereiter serves as the President and CEO of the New York Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation (New York Alliance), an organization created through the 2018 merger of the New York State Association of Community and Residential Agencies (NYSACRA), and the New York State Rehabilitation Association (NYSRA). Michael's appointment as President and CEO of the New York Alliance began on October 1, 2019, immediately prior to which Michael served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the New York Alliance. As President/CEO of NYSRA previously, Michael played a critical role in facilitating the merger that resulted in the New York Alliance, which is now the largest statewide association representing intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) service provider organizations. During Michael's time with New York Alliance, Michael has served as the campaign manager for the #bFair2DirectCare campaign and has helped establish the New York Alliance as NYS' statewide technical assistance resource on managed care preparedness for the IDD sector.
