Ep 3- RIP Chinese Noodle House with Furnace and the Fundamentals
from Sydney Tonight · host Lachlan A'Court
This month we lost an icon of the Sydney restaurant scene, with Chinese Noodle House controversially closing its doors. But before they did, myself and Annabelle paid them one final visit and we bring you with us in this episode of Sydney Tonight. You'll also hear from Elliot Crane, front man of Furnace and the Fundamentals who have been described as the best party band in the world! They've performed at the British F1 Grand Prix in Silverstone, alongside Hamish and Andy at Wet and Wild, and are hot off the back of a sold out Christmas show at the Enmore Theatre! Make sure to keep your eye on their website (https://www.furnapalooza.com/) for upcoming shows to get along to, including a NYE one in Parramatta. And finally, this week is the final week of 2025, so in that beautiful New Year's tradition, join me to chat resolutions on the show. And just as important as looking ahead, is reflecting back, so I got out to Manly Beach to ask locals (and tourists... mostly tourists) what resolutions they haven't quite gotten around to yet.Sydney Tonight is produced at 2SER studios in Ultimo, Sydney. The show is broadcast every Tuesday night at 7:30pm from Chatswood to Cherrybrook, Blacktown to Bankstown, Parramatta to Penrith! Catch interview clips, videos, and other extra Sydney Tonight content here! If you have a story about Sydney that you think needs to be told, get in touch through the email! This podcast is recorded on Gadigal and Dharug Land. We pay respects to Elders past and present.
