This week the CCK Table breaks down the most famous parenting verse in the book, and why it is not the guaranteed-outcome formula it sounds like. Proverbs is wisdom literature, not a legal contract: it describes how training reliably goes over a whole life, not a checkpoint you pass or fail by graduation. Three moves to make it real this week: name your child's actual bent instead of the kid you imagined, trade the thirty minute lecture for the five second rep, and say the long game out loud to a kid who is currently struggling. This week's challenge: write one sentence naming what actually makes your child come alive. Date it one year from today. Text that sentence and date to someone who will hold you accountable.
