I grew up in the slums of Saudi Arabia in a lower-middle-class family. We always lived in scarcity.  Every time my siblings and I wanted a gadget or a beautiful dress, we had to find a way to buy it ourselves. I was obsessed with Ivy League colleges and it was my dream to go to Harvard. I couldn’t afford to pay for my bachelor but I promised myself I would definitely do my Master's there. So, I launched my digital business in 2013 when I was in the first year of college doing Honors in Biotechnology in Malaysia.  I wanted to make money in a way that would not interfere with my studies. In the morning, I was busy with labs and classes almost every day and after getting back to the dorm room I felt so tired, that all I could do was sit at my desk.  So, I started selling digital sewing patterns.  I worked on my business 3-4 months a year during my semester breaks however, made money throughout the year. This is the freedom I wanted. 🙌🙌 Thanks to my business I was able to travel to beautiful destinations like Thailand, Maldives and Malaysia while studying.  I was also able to fund my sibling's education with the money I earned from my digital business. With the savings from my income, we moved to Australia with just two pieces of luggage to start a new life.  And now thanks to my digital business, I have helped pay off my husband’s $120k Master’s fee while living my dream life. ❤️ I’m here to inspire and help crafters in living their dream lives making money doing something they love.
