In this episode Lauren sits down with British Sanctional athlete and ICU Doctor Carys Webster to chat about her journey in CrossFit. With her medical career and functional fitness training developing side by side, Carys made the courageous decision to press pause on her formal medical training  to 'give CrossFit a go' full time and her decision was proved correct with a top 10 finish a year later at CrossFit Strength in Depth. However everything changed when Covid -19 hit. Now juggling a full time training schedule under the watchful eye of Phil Mansfield at Red Pill Training and a part time role in the ICU of a London hospital, Carys is still managing to compete at the sharp end of the CrossFit spectrum whilst also saving lives. She is the absolute definition of girl boss, how does she manage it all?
