Ep:30 Myco Meditations with Eric Osborne

from ALLWays Another Way · host Marina Sbrochi

There is lots of great research on the use of Psilocybin for PTSD and depression. We saw many presentations at the conference. The FDA has opened the doors to study it. There are studies already completed — with great results too! ✨💫 Eric was raised in the countryside of rural Kentucky, and has remained anything but traditional. He graduated with a Master’s in Education from the University of Louisville but soon became an educator not of English as he was trained, but of mycology which he learned through immersion. Founder of Magnificent Mushrooms gourmet mushroom farm and consulting, he was Indiana’s first State recognized Wild Mushroom Expert and a conscientious psychonaut. Eric began working in underground Psilocybin therapy for five years before being arrested. Informed of his activities, police raided his farm and home, charged him with three class B felonies and turned his life upside down. Unwilling to be thwarted, after his release from incarceration, Eric founded the 501(c)(3) organization PLEDG INC. (Psychedelic Liberation Education Discipline and Guidance), the for-profit venture MycoMeditations, a legal psilocybin retreat program in rural Jamaica and the MycoMeditations Podcast. A husband, father of three and passionate about psychedelic healing, Eric has used hurdles as inspiration to bring forward the medicine of mushrooms. I met Eric at the Los Angeles Psychedelic Science Symposium - LAPSS and he’s going to be on the show!
