Ep. 301 - I Don't Know How To Explain This: Part 1/2

This week's episode is one of the strangest experiences I've had in my work and something I'm still trying to fully understand. A client came in for a session and the moment I saw his name, I recognized it. When he arrived, I greeted him like I already knew him. It felt natural and familiar, like we had met before. I even asked him when I had last seen him. But, according to my system, he had no previous appointments, and when I asked him, he told me we had never met. That's when things took a turn. I couldn't snap out of it. For the entire hour session, it felt like I was remembering something that didn't actually happen. Not like typical déjà vu where something feels familiar for a moment, but like a full memory. I I knew why he was there, I knew details about his life, and when I shared what I was getting, his response was, "we've never met before". In this episode, I walk you through exactly what happened, what it felt like in my body, how it impacted the session, and the questions it has brought up for me since. This is part one of a series because this wasn't an isolated incident.
