Continuing the Olympic theme for 2024, in this episode I am excited to bring you a lively and fun discussion with Laura Harding and Annie Wilmot who are members of the Australian Sailing Squad, on the journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics in the 49er FX Class in Sailing. Laura and Annie have been sailing together only for the past 2 years and came together after competing against each other for a number of years in one of the fastest yachts on the planet. They recently completed a successful 2022-23 season in Europe and placed 16th at the most recent World Championships. Ultimately they are seeking to represent Australia in 2024 in Paris.We discuss teamwork, collaboration, communication, coaching, and the mindset needed to thrive in the rollercoaster world of high-performance sailing when so many things are in your control yet so many are not.
