Our guest today, Professor Jonathan Den Hartog explains how in the days immediately following the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we had to figure out how this Declaration would affect the colonists, congress and the army.  Professor Den Hartog is Professor and Chair of the Department of History at Samford University.
