Ep. 31: Beanie Mania
from On The Doc Hosted by Amarilys and Misty
Original Publish Dare: January 9 2022 Admit it, you have an attic full of Beanie Babies and you hope to one day rule the world with the enormous amount of money you're going to get when you sell them. Right? This week we discuss HBO Max's new documentary about the Beanie Babies craze of the 90s and learn that if you're ever offered $100,000 for a collection of stuffed animals, you should immediately accept or be stuck with thousands of little toys that are totally worthless 30 years later. Also, we extend a request for a million dollars from Elon Musk in the hopes he has it just laying around the house and is looking for someone to give it to. As always, if you like what you hear, leave us a rating/review on your platform of choice (iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Facebook) or send us a voice or email message. We love to hear from you!
