Ep 31 : Creation, Science and Time - with Lester Marr

In this episode of Canadian Reformer, Daniel attends Missions Fest BC (Feb 12th, 2026) and unexpectedly interviews Lester Marr from Reasons to Believe Canada. There are different perspectives among Christians with respect to Genesis and Creation. Two popular views are Young-Earth Creation (6000-10000 Years) and Old-Earth Creation (Millions-Billions Years). How do these perspectives impact our Christian faith? Can miracles and scientific reasoning coexist in the Bible? Join us as we compare these two perspectives in an on-the-spot interview at the Reasons to Believe booth at Missions Fest BC.*Original recording took place on Feb 12th, 2026*Resources and Links:* Debate: Does Belief in Inerrancy Necessitate a Particular View of the Age of the Earth? - Dr. Hugh Ross vs Dr. Terry Mortenson (2025)* Science Confirms the Bible - Ken Ham (2025)* Reasons to Believe Website* Answers in Genesis Website* Is Genesis History? - Film (2017)Call to Action:* If you have children or grandchildren in school, ask the administrators and science teachers if Creation Science is taught in the classroom.* If this is your first time looking at scientific evidence of the global flood and a younger Earth, consider watching “Is Genesis History?”“Like, share and subscribe to our Substack page” to support our podcast.Follow us on X: https://x.com/CanadaReformers*Disclaimer: The views expressed in all podcast and written posts are solely my own and do not reflect the views of any employer or any associated organizations or groups.
