Ep. 31 – Fading

Real Madrid drops two huge points after a draw with Real Betis at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium and sees its La Liga title hopes fading. With a second draw in their last 3 games, Real Madrid’s best chance for a La Liga title lies in winning ALL of their remaining games and hoping that Barcelona and Atletico drop points. Zinedine Zidane’s team have fought hard this season in the face of 50+ injuries and COVID, but as the season comes to a close it is clear that fatigue has begun affecting some of our most important players i.e. Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić. The fact that Los Blancos are still alive in the Champions League also adds to the fatigue as the players are pushing themselves to their physical limits in order to stay competitive in both competitions.
