Ep. 31: Gentlemen's Sweep
from Yank Your Sox Off Hosted by Gamby & Beal
The Yankees sweep the Guardians and the field will also need to be swept after some unruly Yankees fans decided to throw garbage on the field. The Red Sox are struggling. Back to back series losses for the Sox against division rivals and what is up with this lineup? Story looks lost and Bobby Dalbec looks like he did early last year (not good). NFL draft is this Thursday night. The real news story of the week though is the protests of Glenn Taylor, owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves, as fans have run onto to the court in 3/5 of the T-wolves playoffs games this postseason. Coincidently, the T-wolves have won all 3 of those playoff games and lost the games where there was no protest. Coincidence, maybe, but Beal thinks not. Is it right to be this superstitious as a sports fan; we think it's just natural?
