Ep. 31: How Jen Ngozi, Founder of NetWerk, Is Helping 1 Million Women Get Promoted By 2030

from Werk Mija Podcast · host Xochitl Carmona

Today I am joined by Jen Ngozi. Jen was underpaid and underemployed for years. As a first-generation immigrant, she didn’t know how to ‘play the game’ at work. This inspired her to launch NetWerk®, a community and platform on a mission to help 1 million women get promoted by 2030. Today Jen is a global speaker and has spoken at events with the United Nations Foundation and Vogue. Her career advice has been featured in Huffington Post, Business Insider, Martha Stewart, and more.  Jen is also a fellow recipient of the Caress Dreams Fund & IFundWomen Crowdfunding accelerator program. We are both part of the Spring 2022 Cohort which consists of 30 women of color founders chosen from 2,500 applications kicking off our crowdfunding campaigns and discussing the process during this podcast episode. Tune in to learn more about Jen's journey and how she's taking the next steps to level up her business!
