EP 31: Journey of a Soccer Player (that you probably never knew) ft Abdulafees Abdulsalam

I've known Abdulafees Abdulsalam, aka Afeez, since 2011, when we met in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Afeez stood out from a couple of athletes that I was introduced to while stationed in the Middle East. Afeez life, his experiences are a window into a world that many of us are familiar with but only on the outside as lovers of the beautiful game.  Afeez has played and lived in many countries from West to North Africa, then mostly in the Asian continent. Afeez takes us into culture shocks, surprising encounters, and obstacles that footballers face where there is no union protection along with other barriers that soccer players who aren't from Europe and North America face in their careers.
