Emily has a vast amount of knowledge in paediatric sleep which she is passionate about sharing with the wider community to educate and reassure parents about the biologically normal sleep behaviours of babies and toddlers. Emily supports children with their sleep in both a clinical setting in the hospital as part of her role as a paediatric clinical nurse specialist and in a home setting, as a sleep consultant. As a holistic sleep coach, Emily uses very gentle strategies to support sleep which does not involve 'crying it out' or 'controlled crying'. She is an advocate for protecting the development of the growing child's brain and wants people to know that you can support sleep without excessive crying.
