Ep. 31 | The Sacred Fire: A Journey into Agnihotra with Gau Bodepudi

from The Healthy Peaceful Podcast · host Gau Bodepudi

Join me as I interview Gau Bodepudi, the creator of awakeninnerfire.com - where he  is creating community around the practice of agnihotra in Austin, Texas.  Agnihotra is an ancient Vedic technology; its purpose:  to heal individual and environment by attuning to nature’s rhythms.  Gau, a patent attorney, has taken on a new role:  documentary filmmaker. His project is titled The Sacred Fire:  A Journey into Agnihotra.  Gau is setting forth to prove this ancient wisdom with modern science.  His purpose is to help individuals and planet with this powerful technology, to contribute to healing and sustaining the planet.  Gau describes the elements of the agnihotra practice and why it must be performed at the most powerful intervals of the day:  sunrise and sunset.  "At these juncture points, a quantum entanglement occurs.  When the sun's rays flow into the agnihotra pyramid, the elements of the agnihotra practice create a powerful resonance."  "Ayurveda can teach us about agnihotra.  In Ayurveda, a balanced agni (digestive fire) is a key determinant to optimum health.  If agni is weak, ama (toxins) can result.   Thus, when nature’s agni is weak, pollutants (toxins) accumulate.  The practice of agnihotra bolsters nature's resilience and its ability to process environmental toxins."“The potential of agnihotra is mysterious, but not random.  We find ourselves with this pyramid technology that creates healing effects.  Essentially, agnihotra harnesses nature’s elements and amplifies their effect.  Pollution, for example, impacts us on a subatomic level.  It creates a dissonance in our cells.  The Vedas report that pollution can destroy a civilization.  Material life is mutated down to its molecular structure.  Food and rain no longer hold the potential to nourish.  Agnihotra impacts relationships at the subatomic level.  In essence, it harmonizes dissonance from the ground up."“In the documentary film project, you are marrying the ancient wisdom with modern science.  Why is that important to you?”  “It really is a balance.  While it is important to respect the wisdom cognized by self-realized teachers, it is also important to ground it in scientific study.  The master who shared agnihotra with the world was a messenger, sent to plant the seeds – to bring us where we are right now.  He taught us that the Vedas are a warehouse of scientific knowledge and that we should not hesitate to test this knowledge.  He also said that grace is with modern scientists who are willing to test agnihotra.  He told us that whatever challenge you present to agnihotra, it is fully equipped to meet that challenge.”  “For those listening who have not experienced agnihotra or who have and felt a connection, my recommendation is to keep coming back until your communication with the fire is real.  There is a deep, deep wisdom within the agnihotra fire itself.  You can receive guidance when you connect with the flame – including answers to who and what you are and the wisdom to move deeply into the path.  Keep coming back until your inspiration grows, until you want more of the sacred fire presence in your life.”Find and support:  awakeninnerfire.com agnihotradocumentary.comupcoming:  agnihotrafoundation.com [email protected] Instagram:  @awakeninnerfireI would love it if you would follow, rate, or write a review for my podcast.  What you think matters and I appreciate all feedback!Get in touch with topic ideas relating to my podcast's categories:The meaning of health and well-being, personal and collective consciousness, and maximizing full human potential.  My email:  [email protected] sincere gratitude, Noreen
